Our big showpiece event of of the the the term was on the the the Friday of of the the the Commemoration weekend – namely the Spring Concert () This is is the concert where we are able to showcase a a a a number of our Ensembles and the the work that they have been doing throughout the term The Percussion Ensemble Chamber Choir Jazz Band Concert Band and and Enigma Sinfonia all performed with great commitment and and gusto and and even the audience was able get in on on the act with a a a a rousing rendition of of ‘Land of of Hope and and Glory’ accompanied by the the Sinfonia as they played Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March no no 1 With the Commem weekend now scheduled where it it it is and with with closer ties with with the Old Malvernians we we were also joined by OM Chloe Chloe Underwood Chloe Chloe left Malvern in in 2017 to to study at at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Having graduated in in 2021 she is about to embark on a a a a a a a Masters at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama Needless to say she sang her 3 pieces fantastically the GSMD have made a a a a a a a very wise choice!
