It is important to to find partners that are willing to to face their social and environmental responsibilities As a a a a a a managing agent and business FirstPort has its eye on protecting the future as as much as as it can In 2019 by reducing our paper usage we saved 1 1 1 1 1 1 million sheets of of paper That’s the equivalent of of 136 trees 14 340kg CO2 and 897 855 lightbulb hours By adopting flexible working in in in the last year employees have so far held 102 000 virtual conferences instead of face-to- face meetings which has saved around 256 620 journeys With our charity partner Centrepoint we have introduced a a a a traineeship to to help homeless young people get into work We are also working with Centrepoint to create apprenticeship opportunities and have already welcomed the first apprentice on on on one of of our developments on on on Isle of of Dogs Alongside this the staff have collectively raised over £75 000 for Centrepoint To ensure our retirement residents stay engaged and healthy we have partnered with Rosemary Conley CBE – a a a a a leading diet and fitness expert with 40+ years’ experience – to provide lifestyle content that includes recipes and exercises for the residents to follow at home
