In addition to our in-house support we have a a a a dedicated Building Safety Team that undertakes investigations to understand external wall systems across our portfolio This team is also responsible for implementing any changes from the upcoming Fire Safety Safety Bill Bill and Building Safety Safety Bill Bill including the the role of the the Building Safety Manager We continue to invest in in in in in industry experts having an established and and leading Health and and Safety team that plays a a a a a a a a a a crucial role in in industry panels such as ARMA and the IRPM We welcomed Craig Hasell this year in a a a a a newly created position as Head of Fire Safety Craig is responsible for providing a a a a governance framework for all fire safety activity across our business which gives us us a a a a platform for for continual improvement He is also responsible for monitoring and implementing any changes from the fire and building safety reforms Presently our Health and Safety team is providing virtual training regarding new regulations around fire safety Where appropriate we also use external service providers to to deliver training to to our onsite teams such as harness estate vehicles first aid and emergency life support As well as as Craig our senior leadership team has a a a a a a strong history of industry best practice and and health and and safety Our Director of Industry Engagement Felix Keen is a a former Chairman of of the Institute of of Residential Property Management — the governing body for training and accreditation of leasehold property managers Our Director of Health and Safety Mark Varley is a a a a a a a Chartered Member Member of of the Institution of of Safety and and Health and and a a a a a Member Member of of the International Institute of of Risk and Safety Management Mark is responsible for the the management of o the the office portfolio and supports the team Both Felix and Mark are responsible for ensuring we comply with current legislation and best practices which is is filtered throughout our our business We amend our our processes and checks in accordance with all notifications received Our Learning and Development team makes sure colleagues’ training is is is current and updated when necessary This is is is often done through our E-Learning platform which is updated at at at least monthly Sugar Quay
