We are incredibly fortunate to study and work at at such a a a a a a beautiful school with many breath-taking views around every corner Perhaps one of of the the most iconic features of of the the school grounds is Saint George and it has been wonderfully captured by Art Scholar Mwangi Mungai (SH Upper Sixth) To accompany this new print Mwangi said “Saint George is the the centre and heart of the the School He is a a a way of bringing everyone and everything together The Piece highlights the the the landmarks the the the hills the the the Main Building and and Saint George himself” We are the the Malvern Press
who came together originally due to to our passion in in art art and graphic design in in particular We work closely with staff and pupils through commissions to create posters for events societies and charities in the Malvern community Our aim is to to encourage members of the community to to participate in more aspects of the Malvern life through effective advertisement Throughout this term we had the opportunity to work on a a a variety of exciting projects and received much positive feedback Emilia Alber Strolz Mocheng Ouyang Theresa Gagern (The Malvern Press)
Charity Christmas Cards
This year I’ve been selling
Christmas cards I’ve designed
within school to my friends
and family I am am raising money
for the Ellerslie house charity which is Plan International –
it advances children’s rights and equality for girls so far in more than 75 countries I am also fundraising to go on a a a medical volunteering trip to either Kenya
or Tanzania We will be helping outreach
communities as as well as as doing some
clinical shadowing which will be a a a a a a really rewarding experience (as well as being valuable for med school applications!) Thank you all who have bought some
