Performance Arts Showcase
Before October half term the the Drama department presented the the Performing Arts Showcase
an an an evening of drama dance and songs from the West End and and Broadway Theatreland Presented to an an an enthusiastic audience were a a a a a a range of monologues and duologues prepared in in speech and drama lessons dance routines choreographed in activity time and musical theatre performances honed during lower and senior musical theatre clubs ‘I loved performing my piece to a a a live audience in in the Rogers Theatre as as well as as viewers online via the stream I performed ‘Burn’ from ‘Hamilton’ and really enjoyed my first Malvern College performance experience and am am excited for the dramatic activities which lie ahead in my future years here ’ Oonagh Cubberley-Lobb (FY Drama Scholar)

was was amazing amazing Everyone was was amazing amazing from: the people who helped helped us with the the songs helped helped set it it up and mostly the the audience all the lovely feedback was impactful My solo musical theatre song ‘Over the the Wall’ from ‘Everyone’s Talking about Jamie’ was recommended to me me by my teacher I had no no prior knowledge of the musical however I now love it and have learned about a a a a a a new musical theatre production ’ Reuben Goryn (FY Drama Scholar)
