The Passing Decades
After another two years had passed, I graduated from college and landed a decent paying job with a company that was opening new offices on the other side of the country. I married soon thereafter, and I enjoyed the “settled life” of being a husband; and then, within a year, a father.
I loved my wife and children, and my work was very satisfying. I was an electrical engineer.
