Procedure Text
It’s a text which explains about how to make or to do something.
The generic structures of procedure text:
1. Goal or title, what you want to do or make.
2. Ingredients and materials, what you need or prepare.
3. Steps, the way you make in sequence.
The language features:
1. Use Simple Present Tense
e.g. Sandwich is ready to eat
2. Use action verb
e.g. Put, pour, spread, stir, add, heat, mix, blend, etc.
3. Use adverbial sequence
e.g. First, second, next, then, finally, the last, etc.
