Thyme is one of the aromatic, delicious and
prominent medicinal plants that grow in
different regions of Iran. Thyme is one of
the most important and well-known
medicinal plants in Iran, which has
antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral and
antifungal medicinal properties due to its
special compounds. Thyme is used in
perfumery, pharmaceutical and food
industries.
