Achievement Highlights

VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center (VMSC)
VinUniversity is the first and only higher education institution in
Vietnam that uses the Simboost system, which is designed to provide
video-based debriefing, manage training schedules/resources, and
support post-training evaluation. For the Academic Year 2020-2021,
VMSC has successfully provided simulation courses and issued 845
certificates to learners, including 306 AHA certificates to students and
staff, 404 to Vinmec professionals, and 135 to other external learners.
Other highlights include:
• Two-day Communication Skills TOT for 9 CHS faculty and staff in
October and November 2020.
• Renewed licenses for 13 Basic Life Support (BLS) instructors
(valid until October 2022) and 8 Pediatric Advanced Life Support
(PALS) instructors (valid until June 2023).
• The International Training Center (ITC) agreement with American
Heart Society (AHA) was successfully renewed for another 3 years
(valid until May 2024).
• Completed the setup and deployed successfully the Medical Gas,
Audio Visual, and Simboost simulation management system in
training sessions.

Student Highlight
Graduated from Hue University of Medicine and
Pharmacy, Dr Luong Mong Vu Anh scored among top
1% IFOM test takers worldwide in the last 5 years. He
joined VinUni/Vinmec Surgery Residency program with
high hopes of becoming a leading surgeon in the near
future.
