B. Structure
Recount Text consists of 3 parts,
namely orientation, series of events,
and reorientation.
1. Orientation
Orientation is the introduction part
of the story. It contains the
background of a story, such as who
was involved, when it happened, and
where it happened.
Example: When I was 10 years
old, I learned to ride on
a bicycle in the school
yard in the afternoon
after school. I learned
to ride a bicycle with my
friends, Dani and Ella.
