OUTLINE OF THE STEM SCHOLAR VARSITY LETTER POLICY:

Students may earn a varsity letter for outstanding STEM scholastic dedication and achievement by participating in the
following extracurricular programs:

     Project Fair
     Science Olympiad
     JETS
     FIRST Tech Challenge robotics competition
     STEM Summer Internship
The requirements for earning a STEM varsity letter will depend on the student’s grade, program participation, and
performance as follows:
     Freshman - 7 pts
     Sophomores - 7 pts, or 6 pts with 1 achievement pin
     Juniors - 7 pts or 6 pts with 1 achievement pin, or 5 pts with 2 achievement pins
     Seniors - 7 pts or 6 pts with 1 achievement pin, or 5 pts with 2 achievement pins, or 4 pts w/ 3 achievement pins
Students earn points as shown in STEM Point Summary Table. Varsity letters and achievement pins will be distributed at
the Hudson STEM Alliance Awards Ceremony held each May.

                       TRADITIONAL HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES FOR 2020

Enrollment in many courses is limited and will be accepted on a first-received basis. Courses will be cancelled if there is
insufficient enrollment. Add $10 for “out of district” students (in-district includes Hudson and Six District Educational
Compact students) Session 1: June 1-19. Session 2: June 22-July 10.
