These senior artists are creative, accomplished,
artistic, innovative, motivated and inspiring! I am
lucky to have had many of them in my classes for the past
four years (five years for the many I had in third grade)!
The growth I have seen in this short time is incredible! These
students are learning who they are as artists and developing
a voice within their works. They are pushing their limits and
becoming proficient with their medium(s) of choice and it is
fantastic to witness!

To say this has been a tough way to end the year is an
understatement. These seniors have missed out on so much,
but I am so proud of the way they have persevered and
looked at alternative ways of getting things done. The
exhibition they have put together for their “Virtual Senior
Art Show’ is a beautiful display of hard-work and dedica-
tion! I could not be more proud of them! Although it is not
the same as the typical Senior Art Show format, this virtu-
al show allows the seniors’ family, friends and community
members to see the awesomeness of their achievements
throughout their high school career! It is a well-deserved
experience for them and I wish them all the best moving
forward. I can’t wait to see what their future holds and
what they become!
