Obituary
Our lives were blessed with the birth of Wendy C. Walker April
29, 1981. She was a gift to Barbara Bishop and Vertis Walker, their first
born. Wendy was the youngest of Barbara's six children: Arnesia,
Teresa, Pudgy, Talonce and Malinda. She was born and raised in South
Central, Los Angeles, where she went to 92 Street Elementary School,
nd
Charles Drew Junior High School, and Savanna High School of Anaheim.
Wendy was respected and loved by her family; she was the “Young
Auntie” for all her Nieces and Nephews. They were raised together, in
each other’s lives, all the time.
Wendy was a kindhearted person who loved her family foremost and
catered to their needs, always. She had a strong personality and wasn’t
going to tolerate disrespect from anyone. Wendy knew how to have fun;
she was good at dominoes and cards and knew how to party. We had our
ups and downs just like any other brothers and sisters; but she was loved,
and her presence will definitely be missed.
Wendy met the love of her life Isiah, and they join in holy matrimony on
February 26, 2011. They gave birth to a beautiful daughter Zaeah. Her
other daughter is Sairah, whom Wendy loved dearly.
Wendy’s Mother and Sister, Lisa Bishop preceded her into eternity. She
leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Isiah Stinson; daughters:
Zaeah and Sairah; 3 sisters: Arnesia, Talonce and Malinda; brother
Pudgy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to celebrate her
meeting the most high God.
