T abetha Quionna Dandy
Tabetha Quionna Dandy was born September 20th, 1982, to Anthony and Rhoda Dandy at Maxi Care Hospital in Culver
City, CA. She was 8 lbs 11oz. Tabetha grew up in South Central LA, where her family attended Tower of Faith Evangelistic Church. She
was dedicated to the Lord on March 13th, 1983 by Pastor Reuben P. Anderson. At the age of 5, we discovered her gift of singing while
attending vacation bible school (Tabetha also attended preschool at Tower of Faith Christian Academy). Her family relocated to the city
of Rialto in the Inland Empire in 1991, where Tabetha attended Simpson Elementary School, receiving an award for creative writing
at the age of 11; that is where we realized that she had the gift in writing poems, songs and music. Her family relocated and bought a home
in San Bernardino in 1997 where God blessed them with a new church family at Ecclesia Christian Fellowship, under the leadership of
Pastor Joshua Beckley. She joined the youth choir and was very active in ministry and the community, where she was asked by the San
Bernardino Unified School District to join the City of Reader’s program that encouraged and empowered the youth through music and
education. Tabetha went on to attend Golden Valley Middle School (1994-1996), where she began playing basketball. She attended
San Gorgonio High school (1997-2001) and continued to participate in girls basketball along with track & field, and she received awards
in the SAL and CIF championships. She also participated in the decathlon, receiving a scholarship from Pepsi Cola and graduated from
San Gorgonio in 2001. She continued her education at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, CA. Being the outstanding athlete that she was,
she was later inducted in her High School’s Hall for Fame in 2016.
Tabetha started her musical career at an early age. She began signing with her sister, Amanda, and they called themselves, 2N1.
The duo contributes their love for inspirational music to their parents and grandmother who taught and sang constantly throughout their
childhood years. Tabetha and Amanda wanted to introduce their unique sound to all people. Tabetha had a passion for music and loved to
collaborate with other artists. She appeared on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, performed for Mayor Judith Vales ,in the City of San
Bernardino and the San Bernardino Unified School District. She sang background for Christina Aguilera, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Mary J.
Blige, Chante Moore, Deitrick Haddon, and Kenny Lattimore just to name a few.
Tabetha was blessed to tour the world and travel to multiple countries such as Japan, Africa, France, Amsterdam, Dubai, Italy,
Malaysia, Israel and many more....Tabetha has worked with talented artists and producers and she continued to write songs, focus on studio
and vocal arrangements, and mentor up and coming artist, throughout her career.
Although she enjoyed touring and singing, Tabetha also enjoyed family. She has 2 amazing sons, Justin and Noah.
In her earlier years of touring, she took time off to get married and spend time with her family. Because of her bubbly personality she landed
a position in property management and showed great benevolence. Tabetha loved to give back by singing at various venues and participating
in positive events around the community. She built great lasting friendships, she had an infectious personality and kept everyone laughing.
Her spirit, smile, and energy will surely be missed.
