History
The name Sodalite comes from Ancient Greece meaning salt stone
for their high contents of sodium. They were found in Greenland
in 1811 and became popular in Ontario, Canada in 1891. They
were used as ornamental decorations. Sodalite is referred to as
the Poet’s Stone because of its ability to help the user communicate
clearly, express their feelings, and allow words to flow.
