When she is not tirelessly working with bees, beekeepers,
kids, farmers, land managers, and policy makers, Sarah loves
to read historical fiction, ride her bike, hike in the hills, see
new places and things, people watch, and snuggle any animal
that she can catch (like the tiny frog in the picture to the left).

Ashley Mitchell is a teacher and artist living in Missoula, Montana with
her potty-trained bunny. Her lifelong love of all things creative has given

her the opportunity to design not only book illustrations but also large
murals, tattoos, logos, county fair posters, and everything in between.
This eagerness to create is a value she works to instill in her students.

When she is not in her studio or classroom, she is fishing, floating, hik-
ing, biking and generally enjoying all the outdoor recreation Montana
           has to offer.
