Dialogue 2
Practice the dialogue with your partner
A : Did you bring some sunscreen? I forgot mine.
B : I have some coconut oil but not sunscreen.
A : Maybe I can pick some up at the beach shop on the boardwalk.
B : Let’s find a spot near some shade.
A : The beach look fairly full. Not to many shady spot left.
B : There’s a spot over there, by those cabanas.
A : Oh, yes. I see some shade. Let’s walk over.
B : I’m going to put down our towels. This way when we’re
swimming, no one will take our spot.
A : That’s a good idea. Let’s check out the water.
B : It feels so warm. The water is so calm.
A : Let’s swim for a bit. And we can look for your sunscreen.
B : Okay. But I don’t want to swim for too long. My skin burns easily.
A : I don’t have that problem. I just use coconut oil. It works fine for me.
B : You lucky to have darker skin. You can enjoy the sun longer.
A : Yes. Shall we swim out a bit further.
B : Yes. Let’s swim over to the pier. We can sit and watch the boats for a
bit.
A : Okay. Then we go to the beach shop, see if I can get my sunscreen.
B : Alright. Let see who can swim the fastest. I’ll meet you on the pier.
