2018 WEEKLY SITE EVALUATION GUIDELINES
Now that you know what your site will be evaluated on, below is how you will earn your weekly site certificate. Please refer back to the weekly site evaluation for further understanding.
Week 1 – Each site will be allowed to have 3 missed checks total for the week, in the Activities box, although not all 3 misses can be in the same day. In each category (i.e. record keeping, weekly requirements, and field trip) each site is allowed 1 “N” to be circled.
Week 2 – Each site will be allowed to have 2 missed checks total for the week, in the Activities box, but the 2 misses cannot be in the same day. In the bottom section (record keeping, weekly requirements, and field trip) each site is allowed 2 “N” to be circled overall, but cannot be within the same category.
Week 3 – Each site is allowed to have 1 missed check for the week. In the bottom section, each site is allowed 1 “N” to be circled, overall.
Week 4 – Each site is allowed 1 miss for the entire evaluation. (For example, can be 1 missed check OR 1 “N” circled.) Week 5 and 6 – No missed sections are allowed.
If you have any questions please ask your site supervisor for further assistance.
SITE OF THE WEEK GUIDELINES
Up to three sites will be chosen as ‘Site of the Week’. The supervisors will choose the sites of the week by which ones had the BEST weekly site evaluation and show creativity in their lesson plans and are providing a positive & fun atmosphere at their site. You must earn your weekly site certificate to be eligible for this honor.
SITE OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS
Supervisors will work together to determine a Site of the Year.
This award will be based on 5 categories:

# of weeks awarded Site of the Week
Teamwork

Two sites will be acknowledged at the last field trip. There will be a first runner up and the Site of the Year winner.
A plaque has been created to display the Site of the Year each summer. If your site is chosen, then the site name, staff names, and year will be engraved on a plate to be permanently placed on the plaque. This will be visible to all who visit the Steiner Community Building. Your name will be a part of Clinton Township Recreation history!
