FEATURED INTERACTIVE EXHIBIT 13
These exhibits are included in the price of admission and will be located either in our classrooms (Discovery Lab 204 or 205) or at one or more tables in the general exhibit area. Each will have a specific focus topic, and may include educational hands-on
activities and exploration, a game and/or a craft led by one or more of our education staff. These are intended as “drop-in” activities that will be available throughout the duration
of the program while materials last. No registration is required to participate, just drop in!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM Become an Astronomer
Celebrate National Astronomy Day by learning about the constellations, outer space, and more. Guests will have the opportunity to make a cool craft, take home a constellation map showcasing the month's night sky, and attend a StarLab Planetarium presentation with our friends from Oakland County Parks- Red Oaks.
StarLab presentations will be held at 11:45am & 12:45pm. Presentations will be available on a first- come, first-served basis and are limited to 25 guests ages 6 and up.

Many of Michigan's wildlife sleep the daylight away and spend the nighttime out and about. Stop by our featured interactive exhibit to learn about some of Michigan's nocturnal wildlife and what helps them survive nature's night shift.
