Japan Sister-City Exchange
Are you and your family interested in other cultures? Do you have the gift of hospitality? Are you curious about our Japanese Sister-City Cultural exchange program this summer? Would you like to learn more about how your family could serve as a host family for Clinton Township? Host family members will have an opportunity to also travel abroad and visit Japan as a perk of hosting.
Gather information and answers to these questions and more at one of our informational sessions.
Background Info: Clinton Township formally entered the sister-city program with Yasu City, Japan in 1993, after two years of cultural awareness and relationship building an exchange program was developed between the two sister-cities. We are now in our 27th year of the exchange program and would love to have your family join us in welcoming our delegate visitors from Yasu, Shiga Japan in July 2020.

Dance Classes
Preschool Rhythm is an incredible class to get children started in the right direction. Each week we change the style of dance so they can get exposure to all forms of dance including: Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet, and Pom. This will give parents an idea of what their child is interested in to prepare them for the 4 year old classes. We use many props, exciting songs, & enjoy showing off to their parents. “Ta Da!” (ages 2 1⁄2-4) We can move them out of this class when they get closer to 4 years old or their coordination skills are satisfactory.
• A parent or guardian must stay in the building during their class.
• Any dance clothes are appropriate. Leotards, tights, skorts, stretch pants, sweats, hair bows...dress them up so they feel special. No “play” clothes.
Tennis shoes are required. Please no Ballet shoes or slippers.
All Dance Classes Held At: Gone Dancing 44766 Morley, Clinton Township, MI 48036 Ages: 21⁄2 - 4 (30 minute class. Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet, and Pom)

On the last day of class - there will be a "Visitor's Day" for participants to show their family members what they have learned and take photos/video.
