Wetland Wander 3:00 p.m.
Come celebrate Wetlands Month with the OAC! Staff will lead a short hike to Milliken State Park to visit the wetland and learn about the importance of wetlands, and the plants and animals that call it home. Enjoy beautiful views of the Detroit River, Windsor, and Downtown Detroit while walking on the River Walk.
Dress for the weather.

Birding for Beginners 1:00 p.m.
The month of May is a great time for birding – birds are either migrating or setting up nests for the season! Join us on International Migratory Bird Day to learn the basics of birding and practice some bird identification along the Riverfront. A limited number of binoculars and field guides will be available for loan.

Mother’s Day Craft 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Come celebrate Mother's Day with the Outdoor Adventure Center staff. Leave your leading ladies at home to relax or head to the spa, while the rest of the family comes to the OAC for a delightful adventure. Make a nature-inspired craft to take home and surprise the most important ladies in your life.
