Q. If there are changes within my facility, do I have to notify Golden Dental Plans?
• Yes, all providers are required to notify GDP of any changes
pertaining to the following:
• Dentists joining or leaving the facility
• Changes to Tax Identification Number.
• Increase or Decrease in preferred Target Assignment Volume • Office contact information.
Q. As a participating provider, do I have to accept all Golden Dental Plan groups?
• GDP prefers participating providers to accept all employer
groups, this policy promotes increased access to care for our members and also facilitates practice growth. If there are any concerns regarding specific groups, please contact our professional relations department to discuss options
at 1-800-451-5918.
Q. How soon can I begin seeing Golden Dental Plans members? • Once the enrollment process is complete, facilities become
effective immediately. To expedite enrollment please visit www.goldendentalplans.com and click on the provider tab then select the Join GDP network button.
Q. Can I limit my facility to new patients?
• Yes, increasing or decreasing assignment volume is an option.
