words and behavioral actions are expressed. This representation is sometimes called a ‘wordview’

of which I have argued scripts morbid living within the Mass Trance formulated by this context.

In my earlier WISR papers I examine ‘Mass Trance’ as a problematic paradigm that must

be solved for society to achieve the dream of a holistic healthy happy and equitable future. I called

for a ‘self-liberation’ movement because becoming rescued won’t happen outside ourselves. OK,

if we have named the existing context then we need to evolve a new way of thinking that relates

to actualizing new modalities and lifestyles suggestive of the transformation which translates to a

shift in the conversation itself that actualizes these possibilities and expresses itself as a dynamic

that increases social capital and recognizes the individual as a positive participant in the process.

I will go into further detail about this and how Community Conversations can model these ideals.

               Convening for Healing

Dialogue participants acknowledged, in reflection, that the civic gathering held as a

Community Conversation series on implicit bias had a healing affects for some of the attendees.

“I see its good probably could be a new Albany get healthy initiative where we gets together

and talks about things like here, not part of some other political kind of thing.” (P04FAA)

“People want to have more, more of these types of conversations, and how it would be

beneficial for themselves personally as well as for the community.” (P06FW)

“They refresh your mind and encouraging and certain people wanted more.” (P03FTRM)

“It (the dialogue) was very healing.” (P12FW)
