Soil showing fertility status as low or high, fertilizers dose shall be increased or decreased accordingly by 25% of
the general recommendations by SKUAST-J. :-
►Always Use balanced dose of fertilizers.
►For organic produce, use Integrated-Nutritional Management (INM).
►For improving the soil structure and texture, apply well rotten FYM and Vermi compost as
Recommended by the SKUAST-J.
As per soil analysis, topography and climate of the area , following fruit crops are recommended which can give
good result in Doda District :- Walnut, Apple, Pear, Olive, Apricot and Peach etc
