Kevin Morris was born on 6 January 1969 in the city
of Liverpool, in the United Kingdom.

Having attended Wavertree School and Saint Vin-
cent’s School for the Blind, both of which are in Liv-
erpool, Kevin went on to read history and politics at
the University College of Swansea.

Having graduated with a BA (joint honours) in his-
tory and politics, and a MA in political theory, Kevin
moved to London in 1994, where he now lives and
works.

Kevin lives in Upper Norwood, a suburb of Greater
London. Norwood derives it’s name from the Great
North Wood and remains one of the greenest parts of
London.

Much of Kevin’s poetry is written in his home which
overlooks a historic park. Due to being blind Kevin

uses software called Job Access with Speech (JAWS),
which converts text into speech and braille enabling
him to use a Windows computer or laptop.
