FUTURE
I've often been called the luckiest person. Every lottery number I buy is always translucent, which football
team will win I can always guess, which race horse will win the race I can always predict. There are many
advantages I get from it all.
Make no mistake, I don't rely entirely on good luck. There is one secret that no one knows, which is my
ability to see the future. This ability I've had since I was a kid. Even seeing someone's fate in the future
wasn't something difficult for me, but strangely enough, I couldn't see my own fate.
However, that estimate was eventually broken. One day, I had a vision of myself. It's a bad thing. I was hit
by a car to death instantly. My mind is crazy. What can I do to prevent it?
Staying away from the highway might be the solution, but I can't avoid continuing. To get to work I had to
cross a road. With high vigilance, I forced my feet to step.
As expected, right in the middle of the road there was a car that ran a red light. A split second late I
avoided, surely my vision came true. Unfortunately, a woman pushed by me fell onto the asphalt and was
run over by a passing car.
Could my fate be replaced by him? Ah, whatever, the important thing is I'm still alive. Not long after, I
regained sight. A big hammer fell on my head.
"What the other things? So it's not all over yet?"
As it had become a cycle, from then on I continued to have visions of my death, but from previous events I
knew this could have been avoided, although there would have been other fatalities in its place.
Over time I felt uncomfortable with this ability. Who can stand every day to see himself die in different
ways? Not to mention the guilt of the people who died in my place. Do I have to survive this way?
As usual, I escaped death today. It's no longer something special to me. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
I was silent for a moment when the vision appeared. It's different from the previous one. I never felt like I
saw my own future.
"Hahaha. Good! Tomorrow I hang myself."
