City Tree.
City tree, You did not ask to be born, yet you are here. You didn’t want to be in the city,
but you’re in the asphalt jungle, I guess this wasn’t the life you wanted.
yours is not You dreamed of hosting animals, of being in the middle of the jungle, of gi-
ving life and breathing air, not pollen and exhaust gases.
an easy life I understand you, city tree, I also wanted a life different from this one, but you
don’t always manage to take what you want. You have to settle for what you
have and make it work; you have to survive.
And I will survive like you, city tree, two entities out of place, but who are
making a living because that’s the only thing they can do.
