me to be detached from all things within Thy holy precincts. Lord! Give me to drink from the
chalice of sel essness; with its robe clothe me, and in its ocean immerse me. Make me as dust in
the pathway of Thy loved ones, and grant that I may o er up my soul for the earth ennobled by
the footsteps of Thy chosen ones in Thy path, O Lord of Glory in the Highest.
With this prayer doth Thy servant call Thee, at dawntide and in the night-season. Ful l his
heart’s desire, O Lord! Illumine his heart, gladden his bosom, kindle his light, that he may serve
Thy Cause and Thy servants.
Thou art the Bestower, the Pitiful, the Most Bountiful, the Gracious, the Merciful, the
Compassionate.

Man is he who forgets his own interests for the sake of others. His own comfort he forfeits for
the well-being of all. Nay, rather, his own life must he be willing to forfeit for the life of
mankind. Such a man is the honor of the world of humanity. Such a man is the glory of the
world of mankind. Such a man is the one who wins eternal bliss. Such a man is near to the
threshold of God. Such a man is the very manifestation of eternal happiness.

Leave all thought of self, and strive only to be obedient and submissive to the Will of God. In
this way only shall we become citizens of the Kingdom of God, and attain unto life everlasting.
