Message from Headmistress

DPS Jammu has been nurturing young minds for more than 2 decades with the motto
'Service Before Self.’ I feel privileged to be associated with the education of our children at
Delhi Public School, Jammu. We at DPS Jammu at all levels are highly motivated and make
sure teaching-learning process is fun for the children. The school is making all possible
efforts in shaping the destiny of our children and equipping them to face challenges in life.
The pace at which technological, emotional and social changes are taking place,
equipping our children merely with bookish knowledge will be inadequate. It is thus,
essential to inculcate right thinking in the future generation to enable them to meet the
challenges that they encounter. We at DPS Jammu motivate and empower the students
to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing
global society. Converting every individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen,
our school provides an amalgam of scholastic and co-scholastic activities. We are pleased
to present to you the edition of "Ankur”. This magazine is a platform extending valuable
opportunities to our young talents to showcase their imagination and creativity. Enjoy
every moment you have because in life there aren't rewinds but only flashbacks. For you,
we have worked hard to bring up an exhilarating flashback of school events, achievements
during the session 2022-2023 and creativity of students which includes a wide range of
poetry, riddles, paintings and some informative and inspirational articles.
It is indeed heartening to note that the entire magazine has been designed and framed
by the students and teachers of the Editorial Board. It is a tremendous achievement, worth
emulating. My special accolades go to the Editorial Board and all those who have worked
behind the scene for completing this novel venture.
I congratulate staff, students and parents for their strong sense of commitment and
responsibility that has led the school towards greater heights of glory.
