FANCY DRESS COMPETITION

ancy dress is a wonderful way to enhance physical
modulation, articulation, and expressions in students.
FPre-Primary Section of school organized a Fancy Dress
Competition on 22nd November 2022 for the students of class
Nursery. Topics of this competiton were famous personality,
celebrity, mythological characters and favourite cartoon character. Children enjoyed the beauty of
expression, thoughts, feeling and exhibited their talent and confidence by dressing up themselves in
different styles. Fancy Dress competition was organized for the young models of the DPS with the aim of
removing stage fear from the minds of children as well as to enhance their self expression. They dressed
on given themes and mesmerized everyone. These little children were appreciated by the mentors. The
competition was adjudged by Ms. Shabana Rahil and Ms. Meenakshi Jamwal. The first prize was bagged
by Aashriya Mahajan and Ivaanya Sharma, the second prize was bagged by Charvee Mahajan and Kyra
Manchandaand the third prize was bagged by Mahira Choudhary and Keyaan Gupta. The consolation
prize was also given to Ojasvi Gupta, Aarab Sameer and Mriganka Sharma.
The competition allowed them to live their fantasies by dressing up in costumes and acting like there
favourite characters, cartoon, or animal. It even gave them an opportunity to express their point of view
about the world around them.

ENGLISH RECITATION COMPETITION

oetry is a wonderful way to encourage language development in children because of its rich usage
of words and imagination it can create. To enhance voice modulation, articulation and expressions
Pin students, Pre-Primary block of the School organized an English Recitation Competition for Class
Prep and Class I. Children enjoyed the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and music
of words and exhibited their talent and
confidence by reciting poems on different
topics.
