Introduction
The Technology Studio aims at introducing the students to the complete design
process of a building right from conception to construction stage and finally, its
maintenance .
This Studio shall integrate structures, materials, construction process,
envelope/enclosure, environmental control and building services.
Also, the role of technology for safety, functionality, constructability, sustainability
and expression will be emphasised in this studio.
Understanding the guiding architectural intentions, process of manufacture and
assembly, performance requirements, and systematic organization of various building
assemblies will be the key determinants of this studio.
