Our insight and experience cover virtually every segment of the health care industry, and our multi-disciplinary approach
supports every aspect of a client’s objectives and operations. Health care laws intersect with a number of other industries, so
we collaborate with clients in non-traditional health care industries such as municipalities for their EMS services, private equity
firms for health care regulatory advice, and tech companies for their
health-related apps and services. We handle everything from single
transactions or issues to outside general counsel on all legal matters.

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center – in numerous strategic, contractual,
medical staff, patient, policy, compliance, and day-to-day legal matters to
include the development, construction and establishment of a new physician-
owned, inpatient orthopaedic campus valued at over $100 million.
Ashtabula County Medical Center – in numerous strategic, contractual,
medical staff, patient, policy, compliance, and day-to-day legal matters.
Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians (COPC) – one of the largest
independent physician practice groups in the United States – in diverse
compliance and corporate matters.
NOMS Healthcare – one of the largest independent multi-specialty
physician groups in Ohio – in numerous matters including the
syndication of surgery centers, providing guidance regarding COVID-19
funding & compliance, navigating mergers and acquisitions with various
clinical providers, and acting as general advisory counsel.
Koinonia Homes – in the acquisition of portfolio of ICF and related
facilities, restucturing of corporate entities, revising service line agreements,
and advising employment matters.
BioIQ – a national informatics company – with data privacy laws, HIPAA
and other protected health information-specific health care guidance
ensuring their compliance.
Lifebanc – a non-profit organ procurement organization working in
northeast Ohio to save and heal lives through organ, eye and tissue
donation for transplantation – in contractual relationship matters with its
donor hospital and in donor issues with respect to a patient’s family.
Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute – a medical practice based in
Springfield MO – annually in providing and reviewing legal opinions and
negotiating fair market value compensation for employed physicians.
Multiple physician group clients, including, but not limited to, Canton
Aultman Emergency Physicians, Mahoning Valley Hematology Oncology
Associates, and OMNI Orthopaedics, in various contractual and health care
law matters.
Nurse practitioners in establishing independent nurse practitioner clinics.
