Men’s Club Kicks Off Summer with Island Fun and Trivia Showdown
The Men’s Club enjoyed a lively start to the summer with a pair of standout events in June, demonstrating the club’s vibrant community spirit and enthusiasm.
Island Night Sets the Stage for Summer
The month began with the much-anticipated Island Night, where members danced the night away to the tropical rhythms of Island Therapy, a renowned steel band. The event, held in a festive atmosphere, featured an island-themed buffet that included a variety of traditional dishes. Attendees reveled in the music and flavors, making for an unforgettable evening.
Trivia Night Brings Friendly Competition
Just two days later, the club, in partnership with the Cascades Women’s Club, hosted a spirited Trivia Night. Titled “Mars vs Venus,” the event sparked friendly competition as teams tested their knowledge across a range of categories. The engaging format and collaborative spirit left everyone eager for more.

Golf Scramble:
July and August will feature the popular Monthly Golf Scramble on July 11 and August 15. This members-only event invites
participants to enjoy a round of golf followed by hot dogs and cold beverages. Pre-registration is required, and the entry fee is $5.00 per person to cover prizes. To register, contact Russ Buser.
Founders Day Picnic:
Scheduled for July 13, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM in the Ballroom, the Founders Day Picnic will honor the charter members who founded the Men’s Club. The casual event will offer hot dogs, hamburgers, and a variety of sides. Cold beverages will be available, and attendees are welcome to BYOB for stronger drinks.
Tickets are $10 per person and are available every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 11:30 AM in the Arts and Crafts Room until July 2nd. Kevin Cahill will chair the event. Note: HOA regulations prohibit bathing suits in the Ballroom, and the event is exclusively for members and their significant others.
Summer Affaire:
On August 24, the club will host its Summer Affaire, a semi- formal event where members can dress up and enjoy an elegant evening with DJ Stevie Won-der. The event will feature a sit- down dinner with entrée options including Prime Rib, Chicken Francese, and Stuffed Shrimp with Crab, accompanied by sides and dessert. The cost of the meal includes cold beverages, with a BYOB policy for those desiring stronger drinks. Ticket sales
