206! David Dow, fully focused, attained a 187 game! Alex
Monsiegneur and Larry Bannister shared the third highest
scratch game score of 178. All you can say is these guys are
good!
High scratch series for men brought us James Marshall with
a 491, that left his team stunned. Les Vella, with Connie
Siegal coaching, slid in with an ace--446. Barry Karet,
Cascades Cascades
efficient as always, bowled a polished 438 series.
High scratch games for women were special. Sharon Swan
went for the gold as she bowled a 183! Maria Brogna

smoothly rolled a superb 165. Gail Winters, as long as Barry
sat quietly, bowled a remarkable 155.
High scratch series for women hit the roof. Sherry Hasse’s
team sat silent and stunned as she bowled a brilliant 399
series. Charline Bannister left husband Larry dumbfounded
as she breezed through a 390 series. Connie Siegal kept the
whole place breathless with a smashing 369 series!
Week three arrived and the bowlers piled in. High scratch
games by the guys are always captivating. First of all, our
honorable president, Jamie Trombettta, bowled a 175! Larry
Bannister heaved a 164 game. Roy Nerviraukis slid in with a
159. Great job by these distinguished gentlemen!
Women’s scores for high scratch games were staggering.
Patricia Reynolds rolled a luscious 145, as did the adept
Young Melvin. Susan Giunta came in with a neat 137. Are
they good, or what?
High scratch series for the men did not disappoint. Tom
Occhiogrosso had a sterling 505 series. The ever- animated
Barry Karet came out of it all with a 488 series. Bob Hasse
growled while the pins exploded, and ended up with a 485
series. These dudes are, well, amazing!
The following notable women bowled these high series.
Diane Nevirauskas, ever so gently, bowled a ferocious
410! Sherry Hasse tried to hold her team together by the
seams and bowled a beautiful 408. The clever Gail Winters
completes the list with a cute 400!

Cascades Bowling –week 1

The first week of bowling commenced and the Cascade
bowlers were ready! Our new president Jamie Trombetta
waved the wand and the madness began.
The following gentlemen did not miss a beat over the long,
hot summer. The high game scratch scores included the
sly Bruce Siegal with a grand 173. Larry Bannister nimbly
bowled a 164. Victor Mullings skillfully bowled a smooth
160.
For weekly high scratch series, we have amazing results.
David Dow had a smashing 524 series. James Marshall
bowled an entertaining 491 series with a house ball! An
awesome 477 series was achieved by a very crafty Roy
Nevirauskis.
These lovely women on the Cascades bowling league had
the following high scratch game scores. The insightful Marie
Brogna bowled a first-rate 165. Young Melvin, always keen,
threw a notable 152. Of course we have the distinctive Jean
Block bowling a skillful 141.
For high scratch series, these women were awesome! The
invaluable Sharon Swan bowled a 457 series. On the same
team, the admirable Gail Winters rolled a 415 series. Then
we have the accomplished Sherry Hasse with a certified 399!
Week Two was wild! For high scratch games, Bob Hasse,
