There was a second branch to Bruce’s life
that contributed to who he was – and this
was his love of motorsports. He was club
racing when Bruce and Barbara met but
this evolved into him driving professionally
in the Formula Atlantic series across the
country for over ten years.

His race car became the big mean green
machine under the sponsorship of Jensen
Exotic Plants which probably contributed
to Bruce’s business success since most
clients loved being a part of the racing
world.

Bruce went back to club racing in his
latter years until about two years before he
decided to leave. Bruce’s son Eric, born in
1970, continues this branch of Bruce’s life
in the professional motor sports industry.
