In the poem ‘From a Railway Carriage’, you read what the poet saw
while travelling by train. Have you ever travelled by a train? How was
your experience?
Do you know that India has one of the largest railway networks in
the world? Along with passenger trains, some of the heritage trains
like the Deccan Queen and Palace on Wheels add to the glory of the
network. Design a brochure for any one of these trains, highlighting
the features and the services provided in the train. Remember to
include the following details:
• departure dates/days • destinations covered with highlights
• luggage allowed • meals served with the serving style
