Suddenly, the hunter heard the fluttering of wings. He became alert. He couldn’t
believe his eyes when he saw the dule of doves coming down and sitting on the net.

The hunter’s happiness knew no bounds. The doves started eating grains. Just as
they were about to move and fly, the doves realised that they were caught in a net.

1 dove: (shocked) Oh no! It is a trap.

2 dove: (crying) Yes, it is. What will we do?

3 dove: (angry) I warned all of you!

1 dove: (calmly) Let us not panic and think of a solution before the hunter

comes and catches us.

3 dove: Let us flap our wings together. This will help us fly with the net.
rd
1 dove: Good idea! Let us do that.
st
All the doves flapped their wings together and flew along with the net.

The hunter, who till now was thrilled about catching so many birds together,
became agitated. How could a few weak birds do this! He ran after the doves but

couldn’t catch them.

As the doves reached a safe height, they thought about getting rid of the net.

2 dove: (worried) What should we do with the net?
