Make a ‘Journal of Emotions’.
Think of a time when a friend was going through a difficult time and
experiencing certain emotions. How did you offer support to him/her?
Write about a past situation in which you might have fought with somebody.
Pen down what the person did to you and how it affected you or made you
feel. Write about how you reacted to this situation, what you said and what
you did.
Sometimes when you are angry or sad, your face and body let other people
know the emotion you are feeling. Try and notice other people’s expressions
to guess their feelings.
• Social Science: Through this chapter, the importance of non-
violence, in contemporary times, can be highlighted.
• Language: Learners can be asked to write an essay on the
‘Importance of Peace’ in their lives.
