     NOTES TO THE FACILITATOR
                The five sections in each chapter are:
                        Warm-up: To generate interest in learners for the topic, in a fun manner
                        Dadima’s Corner: To inculcate a value through a story or a poem
                        Exercises: To reinforce the value through different exercises
                        Life Skill: To provide a life skill-based activity to be done in the classroom or at home
                        Reflection: To encourage the learner to choose
                                           CHAPTER 1: I HAVE GOOD MANNERS
                Value: Good Manners and Conduct                                                  Life Skill: Empathy
                Objective: To reinforce good manners in learners
                •  Warm-up Activity: can be used to reinforce desirable behaviour in learners.
                •  The poem is about orienting learners about the context of using different polite words.
                •  Creative Corner Activity: can be used to reinforce good manners.
                •  Life Skill Activity: You can make learners play the manner game to encourage their usage.
                                           CHAPTER 2: I AM A HELPFUL PERSON
                Value: Respect for Others                                                        Life Skill: Empathy
                Objective: To develop the feeling of respect for others
                •  Warm-up Activity: can be used to encourage learners to donate things.
                •  The story can be used to inspire learners to respect and help others.
                •  Creative Corner Activity: can be used to encourage the idea of gifting and appreciating others.
                •  Life Skill Activity: You can improve the recitation skills of learners by making them recite poems
                    on helpfulness.
                                        CHAPTER 3: I AM DIFFERENT YET SPECIAL
                Value: Respecting Differences                                  Life Skill: Interpersonal Relationship
                Objective: To make learners accept and appreciate diversity
                •  Warm-up  Activity:  can  be  used  to  make  learners  help  people  despite  belonging  to  different
                    backgrounds.
                •  The story can be used to highlight the importance of accepting people the way they are.
                •  Creative Corner Activity: can be used to encourage learners to befriend others despite differences.
                •  Life Skill Activity: You can teach learners how to befriend others and improve interpersonal
                    relationships.
