Make a Wind Vane

Thick card paper, plastic straw, cello tape, pencil with eraser, pin.

Step 1: Cut out the head and tail of an arrow from the
thick card paper.

Step 2: Stick them onto the ends of the straw with the cello
tape.

Step 3: Push a pin through the middle of the straw into the
eraser of the pencil as shown in the figure.

Step 4: Hold up the other end of the pencil and find out
the direction of wind.
