Measurement of Capacity

How will you measure water? You cannot hold water in your

hand. But you can measure water, milk or oil in a container.

Take a large bottle of water and

bucket water bottle drum water tanker
               Learning to Measure Capacity

pour some water in a glass.
MATHEMATICS The bottle holds more water

                    than the glass.

Pour some tea in a cup
                    from the teapot.

                    The cup holds less tea
                    than the teapot.

                    Pour some fruit juice

                    into the glass.

There is no more juice left in the tetrapack.

It fills the glass completely. It means both
               have the same capacity.
