             Why a Lifecycle Analogy? - Birth to Death
The lifecycle was chosen as a means of explaining ITIL 2014 because every product, every service, every company, and every human goes
through defined stages. If we plan for the stages that we know will come; our pre-preparation will allow us to interact and profit from those stages instead of taking our chances with whatever comes. Planning almost always returns better results than not
planning. “Forest Gump” was a Movie. Forest’s luck almost never actually happens.
