Anchor Bend

















































                Fairly similar to the round turn and two half hitches, the anchor bend is an
                excellent  hitching  knot.  It  is  simple  and  always  very  easy  to  untie,
                particularly when it has a bight. Originally, it was primarily used to attach a
                small anchor directly to its buoy rope.
