Wrapped and Reef-knotted Coil

Also known as: Wrapped Coil, Wrapped Square-knotted Coil

Unlike the Alpine and Fireman’s Coils, which secure the coils at only one
point on their circumference, this method secures the coils all the way
around. This is time-consuming to do, and it makes the rope less available
for ready use. But it is an effective method of preventing tangles in rope
that will be stored for long periods or transported with other gear in a car
trunk or boat locker.
