2. Pull about 20 ft. (6 m) of rope into the ends, then place both parts over your shoulders and behind your
               neck. (The ends are out of frame to the left side of the photograph, i.e., to the climber’s right.) For brevity,
               we’ll call the long, doubled rope on the side opposite the ends the “standing part.”
