The Square Knot is easy to untie. Grab one bight in each hand and pull in opposite directions.
There’s usually a solution, though, and each knot in this book has instructions
for untying it. There are a few knots, however, that just can’t be untied readily
(especially if tied in really small stuff like monofilament fishing line) and have
to be cut. This is something to consider before you tie a knot.
