Day Center

The House of Hope sees the needs of the
community and endeavors to grow to meet
those needs. For someone who chooses to live
every day on the street due to PTSD or mental
illness, daily basic needs are all they will come to
us for. In the next phase of expansion, we will be
opening a day center that will offer day
programs, including food, showers, lockers,
counseling, change of clothes and heat/AC
during inclement weather. In addition, we will

partner with other agencies to offer the full range
of programs available in the Pee Dee Region.

In addition to expanding within the Florence

area, we are excited to partner with
neighboring communities to open warming
and cooling stations to offer spaces for
information and respite.

All of these plans are several years away, but
we know that whenever there is need, we have
a strong desire to find a way to be the answer.
