Page 47 - Reflections of you 8-12
P. 47
To me in the future
Actually I know you’re doing well. I don’t know what you are doing right now, but I hope you’re doing what you
wanted.
You may be ashamed of me, the younger version of you. However, please remember if the younger you weren’t
there, you wouldn’t be where you are now. I also hope you still have a sense of humor, but not too much. I made
corndogs today and they were the worst corndogs I’ve ever eaten in my life. Please tell me you learned how to make
delicious corndogs!
People always say that my dreams are too small but we know it will make us happier than big ones. I am sure you
studied at the university you wanted. I know what you’re thinking. You are thinking about how silly this letter is because
I just read the letter I wrote 3 years ago to my future self and I thought that...
Did Covid-19 end? If so, how did it end? Most of my teenage years have been spent in quarantine and it’s kind of sad.
However, I found out so many things about myself in quarantine. Of course, everyone wants to end this virus thing.
So do I.
What about my family? How are they? What is my younger brother doing? Is he studying or is he a successful
businessman now? I bet my parents, grandparents, uncles, aunt, and my cousins all are doing great. I hope they
understand and support you like they do now. Whether they do or they don’t you should support and love them as you
can. I hope you are pretty close with them, especially your mom.
At the end of this letter, I think you thought about all your past life and some important moments in your life.
See you in 10 years!
Goodbye.
