I was born three months early and weighed
only two pounds. I was very small
and weak.

At birth, I didn’t get enough oxygen.
Because my lungs, heart, eyes, arms,
and legs didn’t work very well, my
mother couldn’t take care of me.

I went to live in a Christian orphanage
where people prayed that I would get
a daddy and mommy to care for me.
God answered that prayer!

My daddy and mommy are Nicacio and
Lilian. They take care of Camp Shalom in
Londrina, Brazil. I’m three years old now.

One Mission Society began working in Brazil in 1950.
The huge country of Brazil stretches from hot, muggy Amazon
jungles in the north to cooler, rolling hills and valleys in the
south. The beauty of unexplored rainforests, stunning tropical
beaches, and endless rivers display God’s creation. The people
of Brazil are energetic and joyful.
