The Oak Park School Song
THURINGIAN MELODY
by Mrs. Hattie V. J. McInnis
Hail to the school we love, hail to Old Oak Park High!
She only has our hearts, dear Old Oak Park.
She has these souls of ours, so closely bound to hears;
No other can we love, Save her alone.
Blue is our color, Worn with the purist White.
We wear them for Oak Park, the school we love.
Colors may fade away, but love for her shall stay.
That cannot pass away, dear Old Oak Park.
When we have gone away, out in the world alone,
We will remember thee, and lessons learned.
We’ll try to do our best, and to thee, glory bring.
With us, thy honor rests, dear Old Oak Park.
